Non Non Biyori

A new student arrives in a small school in the country, where there are only 5 other students, and they all share the same class.

A piece of candy from Komari is treasured by Hotaru and coveted by Natsumi and Renge. Later, Komari confuses a dressed up Hotaru for an out-of-towner.

A school field trip turns into a surprise rice planting party. Natsumi runs away and drags Komari with her.

Renge encounters a girl of her own age when she goes out for a walk, and they quickly become good friends.

Everyone is excited about the class beach trip, except Komari, who refuses to go swimming for some reason.

Hotaru's obsession with Komari comes to light. Later, the girls embark on a night outing to the shrine.

Renge and Hotaru are outsmarted by the unlikeliest thing. Later, Renge takes a trip to the candy store.

Komari tries her hardest to be a sentimental adult. Later, Natsumi and Komari make dried persimmons.

Having only 5 students in school doesn't stop the girls from putting on a culture festival. Komari loses at Rock, Paper, Scissors and has to accept a role in Renge's play.

Candy Store reminisces about taking care of baby Renge as they make their way up the mountain to see the first sunrise of the year.

The girls have to spend the night at school due to heavy snow. Hotaru basks in the night's sky, and later learns to ski with Natsumi's help.

Hotaru and Komari have a bento exchange luncheon, but Komari isn't too confident. Later, the kids pick edible plants. Renge realizes how different the country is from Tokyo.
