Dallas begins her dance career at CalArts while Drayton leads USC as quarterback. Their freshman year tests them with distance, ups and downs, and Drayton's devastating injury. Strained by setbacks, they ultimately break up, and when Dallas accepts a job offer in New York, their story closes on a cliffhanger.
