When firemen were called to Beirut port to put out a fire that had started in one of the warehouses they heard a strange crackling sound. Little did they expect what happened next: a masssive explosion.

MT Haven sank off the coast of Italy on the 13th April 1991. It has become a popular dive site for deep water divers. The shipwreck was considered one of the worst oil spills in history and certainly the worst in the Mediterranean.

On the 25th of July 2020 Japanese owned cargo ship Wakashio rammed into a reef off one of the most beautiful places on earth: Pointe d’Esney in Mauritius. The ship lay on the reef for a month before the government of Mauritius called for help.
