Randy Newberg and Corey Jacobsen are in western New Mexico, archery hunting elk in the hottest full moon conditions you could find. Lots of miles, plenty of frustration, and uncooperative elk make this hunt a challenge, even for a team that includes Corey, who is a nine-time world elk calling champion.

Perfect November weather, timed with the peak rut, provide a lot of opportunity for this public land experience. In this mule deer hunt, Randy is joined by life-long friend Dick Ferguson. Dick has taken many whitetails in his home state of Minnesota, but never a mule deer.

Fresh Tracks with Randy Newberg is in New Mexico with Leupold's Tim Lesser, Leupold's VP of Product Development. In this hunt, they are hunting a Wilderness Area burn where elk are aplenty. The challenge comes in the difficult terrain and the high winds that can persist at 10,000'.

Randy is joined by his son, Matthew, along with friends Mike Spitzer and Scott Jones on this public land early November hunt in eastern Nevada. Randy, Matthew, and Mike all have tags, and Matthew gets first choice in this episode. They have decided to hunt the last six days of season, hoping the early rut activity will bring older bucks to the area.

Randy and Matthew filled their tags in part 1 of the Nevada Mule Deer hunt. With only two days left in the Nevada mule deer season, the pressure is on to find the buck that Mike is looking for.

Randy Newberg has waited 20 years to hunt this elk unit in Western Colorado. Having applied and failed 19 times, the 20th time was a charm. This hunt was worth the decades of waiting. Lots of bulls in bachelor groups, taking refuge in these public land canyons, gives Randy many options to choose from.

This hunt turns out to be a lot more challenging than originally expected. A day of scouting turns up two bucks, neither of which are what New Mexico is known for. Day three changes the story.

Matt Seidel of onXmaps joins Randy for a public land hunt in Wyoming. The unit is full of private land, but with the right tools and knowledge, the Fresh Tracks team is able to chase whitetails on public ground. The tag might be easy to draw, but that doesn't mean the hunt will be easy.

Rumor has it that the best way to get a coues whitetail deer is to hunt over a watering hole. Randy decides to do things his own way. Watch to find out how well that works for him.
