Getting married should be the best experience of your life. Howard and Mel wake up on Monday morning ready for all those last minute arrangements in the final week before their big day - what could possibly go wrong…?

It’s Tuesday and things are still a bit tricky for Howard. He meets his dad’s new girlfriend and has to go to unusual lengths to ensure the safety of the wedding ring. Still, at least he and future bride Mel can relax at home for the next few days.

Wednesday, mid-week, and things are still hectic for Howard and Mel. Today sees Howard meet up with an old flame, attend a funeral and sort out his future sister in law’s love life. Can things get any more complicated?

The days until Howard and Mel’s big day are ticking by. Today is Thursday and there’s a problem with some printing, and as Howard and Mel arrive at the hen and stag parties who, could possibly have known how the evening would turn out?

Friday night, the eve of the big day, and Howard and Mel have their wedding rehearsal. Will they get through that and then survive the big family dinner that follows?

Saturday and the big day has finally dawned. The weather is perfect, the guests are arriving and all looks set for a day Howard and Mel will never forget…

Sunday arrives and Howard and Mel have finally made it. With confetti in their hair, they head off for the perfect honeymoon. At long last they can leave all their troubles behind.
