Zac & Mia

In the midst of a monotonous period of protective isolation, Zac is pleasantly surprised when Mia, his new neighbor on the oncology floor, turns out to be nothing like he'd expected. He does what he can to bring a smile to her face.

A surprise visit from Zac's best friend Cam serves as the reality check that Zac doesn't need, and on the other side of the wall, Mia considers more closely the voice behind her late night lullaby.

Just as Zac and Mia's communication begins to pick up, Make A Wish officially grants Zac a wish. Later that day, a video chat with Mia takes an unexpected twist.

While Zac physically suffers the consequences of his recent impulsive choice, he mentally follows Mia on a spiritual journey in his fever dreamlike state.

Zac receives crushing news on his 18th birthday, and Mia continues to priortize prom over her health; but in a spontaneous turn of events, Mia realizes it's time to put someone else's needs before her own.

Zac's possible release day takes a turn that nobody sees coming, and as Mia begins to wrap her head around her new reality, Zac receieves clarity on his Make-A-Wish.
