To solve the brutal murder of a German surfer, two mismatched cops are deployed to the tourist paradise of Hvide Sande on the Danish coast. Since no one in the town trusts the police, Danish undercover expert Helene and German homicide detective Thomas pose as a married couple. They quickly realize that being credible in the roles of husband and wife isn"t easy when you"re used to being alone.
