The Heirs

Using the excuse of delivering money, Eun-sang goes to the U.S. Betrayed, she gets into a huge fight with her sister after discovering she wasn't getting married but living with an alcoholic. As another drastic event unfolds, she ends up meeting Tan.

Eun-sang's mouth gapes open when she sees how big and luxurious Tan's house is. With no place to go, she ends up spending the night there. Meanwhile, Tan, who's busy getting ready for school, is frozen at the sight of Eun-sang by the pool.

Tan is floored by Eun-sang who can't look away from the Hollywood sign. Rushing to go somewhere, Tan and Eun-sang leave the house and drive down a beautiful road. Later, Chan-young who's in the U.S. meets up with Eun-sang and they look like happy lovers.

Tan's heart stops when he gazes innocently at Eun-sang's back and realizes it's her. Forgetting that he was hugging Rachel, Tan calls for Eun-sang and loses his temper, but she doesn't even look back. Tan is left alone and feels empty.

Tan is shocked to see Eun-sang in his house. Eun-sang is surprised to see Tan standing before like a dream. Meanwhile, Rachel is annoyed Tan is back in Korea without having contacted her and Eun-sang transfers to Jeguk High was Chairman Kim's help.

Chan-young whisks Eun-sang away and explains the caste system at Jeguk High. Annoyed because Tan is giving Eun-sang attention, Rachel asks him if he played a part in her transfer. Later, Tan and Young-do stare each other down in an empty classroom.

Misreading the situation, Tan gets mad at Eun-sang for hanging out with Young-do and she wonders about the two's relationship. Rachel finds Young-do when her mom wants to take family photos all of a sudden. Won is cold to Tan who's happy to see him.

Eun-sang feels bad and doesn't have an answer for Tan who confessed his feelings for her. Tan hears a warning from his father after hitting Young-do. Meanwhile, Eun-sang gets the JBS producer position and Rachel hears what Tan tells Eun-sang.

Surprised by Tan's kiss, Eun-sang runs away leaving behind her phone which Tan picks up, making Young-do suspicious. He grabs Eun-sang after coming from the rooftop, but she treats him coldly and leaves. Meanwhile, Tan and Young-do fight fiercely.

Young-do asks what the relationship is when he sees Eun-sang walking into Tan's home. Tan says they're dating and when Eun-sang later asks him why he lied, he suggests that they actually date. Meanwhile, Rachel says she will break off the engagement.

Ji-sook tells Won that Tan will get Jeguk Holding's shares on his 18th birthday, making his stock ratio similar to Won's if not higher. Meanwhile, Tan brings Eun-sang into his room asking what she and Young-do discussed and Ki-ae catches them together.

Young-do finds out that Eun-sang lives in Tan's house as the live-in maid's daughter. Tan warns Young-do not to threaten Eun-sang. Meanwhile, Tan confesses to Hyo-shin that he's not Ji-sook's son.

When Rachel asks Young-do why he hid the fact that Tan was an illegitimate child, Young-do warns her not to reveal that. Meanwhile, Chairman Kim kicks Tan out of the house and tells Jae-ho to send Eun-sang abroad to study.

Rachel asks Ki-ae why she pretended to be Eun-sang's mom at the PTA meeting. Won gets rids of his father's men through personnel changes. Later, Rachel gets drinks catered to Chan-young and Bo-na's party which Eun-sang delivers in her work clothes.

Ji-sook releases Tan and Young-do's rankings to Won and Dong-wook. Ki-ae asks Esther to call off Tan and Rachel's engagement officially. Meanwhile, Chairman Kim brings in bodyguards allowing them to hurt Tan if he tries to leave for school.

After hearing from Jae-ho that his father wants to send Eun-sang abroad, Tan looks for her and finds a hidden plane ticket inside her book. Meanwhile, Chairman Kim calls a shareholders' meeting to vote on Won's dismissal with Jae-ho as the CEO nominee.

Tan and Young-do struggle to find Eun-sang who suddenly left. Tan eventually finds Eun-sang, but turns on his heels when he sees her difficult circumstances. Meanwhile, Young-do, who's trying to forget about Eun-sang, sees Tan wandering around.

Tearfully, Eun-sang tells Chairman Kim that although she still likes Tan, she won't see him if that's what he wants. Tan, who's in agony, begs Won to save him. Young-do tells Eun-sang not to talk to him anymore.

Tan formally asks Hee-nam for permission to date her daughter, but is against their dating. Hotel Zeus gets hit with a search warrant and Ji-sook tries to persuade the board of directors to side with her.

Tan meets with overseas shareholders one by one, gets a power of attorney and requests help from Young-do. Meanwhile, Hyun-joo asks Won to break up.
