The Kingdom

After witnessing Moesgaard’s shocking tour of the hospital, the director orders the secret Brotherhood to investigate the hospital’s problems. A sudden accident sends the reluctantly discharged Drusse back to the neurosurgery ward. Despite a difficult birth, Judith prepares to meet her newborn son.

After he poisons Krogshøj, Dr. Helmer fears another investigation will be launched so comes to his aid. Recovering from her surgery, Mrs. Drusse attends a meeting with the restless spirits, but not everyone’s presence is well received by them. Judith’s son continues to grow at an alarming pace.

Dr. Krogshøj’s life is hanging by a thread. Moesgaard manages to avert conflicts in the ward, but the Kingdom is still in danger of falling apart. After coming face to face with Satan incarnate, Mrs. Drusse must depend on Bulder’s knowledge about the deepest and darkest corners of the Kingdom.

The hospital is rapidly deteriorating. What is happening in the deepest darkness of the Kingdom seems to be directly related to the neurosurgery department, and Mrs. Drusse draws closer to solving the riddle. Amidst his malpractice investigation, more skeletons emerge from Dr. Helmer’s closet.
