Almost Fly

After discovering American hip-hop in their small German town, high school outcasts Walter, Ben, and Nik are convinced that it's their ticket out of obscurity. But when they get wind of a rap show being held on the nearby U.S. Army base, the boys must devise a way to sneak in. Meanwhile, school troublemakers Damir and Cengiz struggle to pull off a major drug deal.

Following the underground rap show, W and Ben scour Eichfeld for the perfect rap beat to use for their school festival performance. But before the boys can get started, they still need a crew name, English lyrics, and a fly DJ窶ヲ who might actually be closer than they think.

As the school festival approaches, the boys finally land on a crew name - "Atomic Trinity" - but a shaky grasp of English threatens to derail the group's first live performance. Meanwhile, Damir and Cengiz riskily attempt to graffiti a train car.

Fresh off the humiliation of the school festival, the crew finds their groove in the language they know best: German. Later, their new manager, Alex, lands the boys a job that may be too good to be true.

Ben learns some harsh truths about his absent father as W struggles to forgive Helli. Then, in the wake of his fallout with the group, Alex works on a fresh music video in hopes of landing the crew a gig on the U.S. Army base.

As the end of the school year nears, things have finally begun to take off for the crew - until a sudden crisis puts the group, and their future, to the ultimate test.
