Life Plan A and B - 荼蘼

Ru Wei and You Yan consider job changes and wonder how they would affect their relationship, but in the end, Ru Wei has to make her own decision about her future.

Plan A Ru Wei takes the promotion in Shanghai and works hard to further her career. Plan B Ru Wei tries to help the Tangs with money as You Yan’s father recovers.

When Plan A You Yan breaks up with Ru Wei, she starts a relationship with her boss. Plan B Ru Wei starts applying for jobs once De Gang is discharged from the hospital, but hits an obstacle.

Plan A Ru Wei continues to advance in her career. A Plan C comes out of Plan B when Ru Wei and You Yan discard their previous visions of the future.

Plan C You Yan struggles with his responsibilities with two families to support. An older Plan A Ru Wei is now owner of a successful restaurant, but faces a sudden tragedy.

All of the different Ru Weis think about their choices and regrets.
