Thakur Pratab Singh is ruthlessly murdered by his two evil cousins for not letting them carry their illegal activities. One of his sons grows up to be a police officer, Ram (Jackie Schroff) and the other an easily tempted dreamer, Lakhan (Anil Kapoor). In order to avenge their father, Ram will have to lead his brother away from the corrupted habits he has strayed onto.
