Capt Rohit Kapoor (Sanjay Suri) is a young officer in the Indian Army. His father is an economics professor, Prof Suresh Kumar Kapoor (Om Puri). His mother Sarita Kapoor (Revathi). The film's storyline takes place between 1999 - 2002, starting with Captain Kapoor's death, while successfully defeating insurgents to capture Pt 4875 on the western side of Tiger Hill, Kargil.
