A propaganda filmmaker visits Victory Munitions searching for the perfect model for the factory. Meanwhile, Gladys confronts her fiancé about his checkered past.

Lorna receives a telegram stating that her son is a war hero, and Harold asks her to speak at the Armistice Day ceremony. Meanwhile, James finds letters that expose Gladys' dalliance with Private Lewis Pine. And Vera must make a difficult decision.

Kate's father resurfaces, Lorna worries that she may be pregnant and Gladys' secret life is exposed in this season finale.
