Charismatic dot-com entrepreneur Tom Sterling (Josh Hartnett) is scrambling to keep his start-up afloat as the tech bubble bursts in late 2001. With his main investor (David Bowie), threatening to takeover, he turns to his estranged brother and company co-founder (Adam Scott) for help. Tom is willing to do whatever it takes to save his start-up, and lifestyle, before everything falls apart.
