Rubin's 1964 masterpiece “Christmas on Earth” announced a radical young voice in NYC's underground film scene. A female Zelig of the '60s, Barbara introduced Andy Warhol to Lou Reed, Bob Dylan to Kabbalah, and then vanished into thin air.
