Edie Ledwell, co-creator of the cult TV cartoon The Ink Black Heart, asks Robin to uncover the identity of her online harasser, “Anomie.”

As Robin goes undercover, Barclay finds himself at risk, and Strike is pulled into Charlotte’s messy divorce.

Strike and Robin eliminate several suspects after making a major breakthrough. Meanwhile, Robin celebrates the high of moving into her new flat – and the low of her cover being blown. Later, Anomie strikes again.

As Strike and Robin inch closer to uncovering Anomie’s identity, the agency is targeted in a devastating attack. Then, Robin puts herself at risk to prevent Anomie from claiming more lives.
