They conclude that the veterinarian is involved in a series of robberies. Having left Timmy behind at the veterinarian's care, the five grow anxious. Will they stop the menacing acts of the veterinarian?

The Famous Five take part in the Falcongate three-day balloon race, only to find out that all the hot air balloons are sabotaged except for the Dunstons' balloon and the race eventually gets postponed. In the midst of the race, Max finds out a highly flammable liquid ethanol inside the envelope. This shocks everyone!
