Dave and Jenny travel to Italy to take on their biggest project yet, helping friends who've poured their life savings into a Tuscan farmhouse rental. They begin to restore the villa, but soon find out how challenging a renovation across the world can be.

After two months have passed, Dave and Jenny are back in Italy to check on the progress of the villa. With new construction challenges unfolding on the stone structure, they now begin to worry that the villa will not be completed for a July deadline.

The Marrs take on exterior projects after they discover that construction shuts down in Italy during the summer, which halts progress. Dave learns to adopt Italian construction methods while Jenny explores Italy for historic design elements for the villa.
