Wrongfully expelled Harvard student Matt Buckner moves in with his sister and her family in London. There, he meets his sister's brother-in-law, Pete Dunham, who introduces Matt to the violent underworld of football hooliganism. However, Pete's lieutenant, Bovver, doubts Matt's motives and inadvertently reignites a long-standing rivalry between Pete's brother and the leader of a rival gang.
