High Alert

Welcome to Johannesburg. A city of renound crime rates and a violent past. Yet amongst all the darkness is a family who protect the streets. Meet the Eblem brothers, Zaine, JP and Moolie as they clean up the streets one bust at a time. This is High Alert.

The team investigates a claim that an occupant at one of their complexes are selling drugs. They find the suspects in their apartment what sounds like them trying to clean out their apartment as the Nightguard guys knock on their door.

After a recent armed robbery at one of their complexes, the Nightguard team investigates the kidnapping of one of their guards after reviewing the security camera footage. They try and get more information from the tenants that escaped the kidnapping plot as he shares his story. This kidnapping epidemic seems to be growing fast and the biys need to find out why...

The NG team is setting up an undercover bike theft op after the recent increase in bicycle thefts from the shop of one of their clients. Trevor is fitted with a hidden camera and sent to go cycle the areas where there has been a lot of attacks on cyclists whilst the team tracks the bike's movements with a cellphone tracker on Duran's phone.

After JP and a friend went on a bike ride, his friend gets pushed off the road by a taxi. JP responds to the friend's call for help as the situation with the taxi drivers spin out of hand and goes into a full assault.

JP, Duran and Jacques manage to get the missing girl's cellphone ID from her mom and starts tracking it to a location in the northern suburbs close to an informal settlement. They spot the missing girl's car and as they approach, a male suspect flees from the vehicle. they give chase but he dissappears into the dark.

The Nighguard team attend a charity event and gets called to a panic alarm. They head to the scene and arrest the TV thief, meanwhile the rest of the team stake out an intersection where there has been a lot of smash and grab robberies recently. They manage to catch a few suspects in the act.

After a few recent incidences with a tenant at one of their complexes, the NG team decides to go knock on the door. At first the tenant seems to comply with their request, until his girlfriend decides to make a bigger scene...

Mike and Justin head to a shopping centre to go and see whether reports are true that there are vagrants selling narcotics on one of the street corners. The rest of the team get a panic from one of their vacant building sites as two vagrants attempt to enter the property. The team responds with the help of offsite monitoring to try and apprehend the suspects.

The Nightguard team gets a tip off that there are Nigerians dealing with narcotics at one of their complexes. The team investigates and discover that it's a way bigger operation than they thought...
