Marvel Comics Spider-Man

A giant lizard has been spotted in the subways and Jameson is willing to pay $1,000 to the photographer who gets the creature on film. Peter turns to his college professor, Dr. Curt Connors for answers. But not the answers he expects.

Norman Osborn hires Spencer Smythe to capture Spider-Man. Smythe releases his deadliest weapon, the Spider Slayer.

Spencer Smythe's son, Alaster is hired by the Kingpin to get revenge on Spider-Man and everyone who had a hand in Spencer's death. He rebuilds the original Spider Slayer, along with two more.

Doctor Otto Octavius, one of Peter's childhood teachers, gets revenge on the Hardy family, for cutting off the funding for his research, by kidnapping Mrs. Hardy's daughter, Felicia.

Spider-Man was seen robbing the Metropolitan Museum, while Peter Parker was home in bed. All of a sudden a supposedly new hero, Mysterio, arrives.

Jameson is becoming obsessed with destroying Spider-Man, so he hires a man named Mac Gargan to become The Scorpion.

Peter has a job interview at the Hardy Foundation Research Center. But his interviewer, Dr. Mariah Crawford, is visited by an old lover, Sergei Kravinoff aka Kraven the Hunter.

John Jameson, Jameson's son, finds a strange black liquid while collecting a rock called, Promethium X, on the moon. The black liquid finds it's way to Spider-Man, giving him a new black suit and the Kingpin sends Rhino after the Promethium X.

Spider-Man is becoming attached to his new suit. But Eddie Brock has framed Spider-Man for the Promethium X robbery. Alaster and Kingpin send Shocker after Eddie to dispose of him. Now, Spidey will begin to see what the suit is really worth.

The symbiote takes over Eddie Brock to give birth to Venom. Now, Spidey must go up against the most dangerous enemy he's ever faced. One who is stronger, more skilled, undetected by his spider-sense, and knows his Spidey's true identity.

Norman Osborn hires a psychopath, known as the Hobgoblin, to kill the Kingpin. But the Hobgoblin plans to use Osborn and Kingpin's rivalry to his own advantage.

The Hobgoblin takes over the Kingpin's empire. Now Osborn and the Kingpin plan to use Spider-Man to take the goblin down.

A secret organization, known as SHIELD, asks for Jameson's assistants in capturing a terrorist known as The Chameleon.
