The Earthshot Prize: Repairing Our Planet

Sir David Attenborough joins Prince William to explain how our approach to modern life is causing global loss of wildlife and how we can reverse this decline. And the prince presents the finalists for the Earthshot Prize to Protect and Restore Nature.

Nominations for the Earthshot Prize to Fix Our Climate are revealed as Prince William, Sir David Attenborough and Christiana Figueres, who led negotiations for the Paris Agreement on climate change, highlight inspiring solutions to the climate challenge.

Prince William, along with members of the Earthshot Prize Council, including Sir David Attenborough and former Japanese Astronaut Naoko Yamazaki, uncover personal stories of people affected by air pollution and of those determined to clean our air.

Sir David Attenborough and Shakira join Prince William for an exploration into how we can stop damaging the world's oceans and begin to enable their revival. Then Prince William presents the finalists for the Earthshot Prize to Revive Our Oceans.

Before he presents this final category's finalists, Sir David Attenborough and Hindou Oumarou Ibrahim, an indigenous rights spokesperson, join Prince William to explore the story of humanity's wastefulness and how we may move to a waste-free world.

Prince William's Earthshot Prize awards 1 million pounds to five different innovators presenting solutions for combating climate change. Hosted by Dermot O'Leary and Clara Amfo, and featuring Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Yemi Alade, KSI and Shawn Mendes.
