As the volunteers settle into the first two weeks of a simpler Amish life, their limited stocks and budget are stretched to the limit, and their patience wears thin... is it all too much for some?

It's hay harvest time at the farm and while some of the group continue to appreciate the benefits of a simpler life, others are at crisis point. And there's an unexpected and emotional announcement.

It's summer at the farmstead and the remaining volunteers attempt self-sufficiency, but frictions continue to mount and a shock discovery threatens their biggest crop.

After four months of living a simpler life, the volunteers close the farm gates on the experiment. Would everyone be happier without the complexity and stress of modern life.
