After living in Shanghai for three years, Sarah (Jaime King) and her husband, Jason (Terry Chen), and young son, Sam (Regan Oey), return to North America for a family funeral. But something strange is going on. While the family stays with Jason's Aunt Mei (Cheng Pei Pei), Sam starts seeing ghosts and then falls gravely ill. Traditional western medicine offers no hope.
