Dinner Club

Onboard a 70s camper, Carlo Cracco will take Christian De Sica, Emanuela Fanelli, and Rocco Papaleo to discover a historic itinerary: the Appian Way, from Rome to Brindisi. Between hilarious encounters, forgotten recipes, group dances, and a mysterious suitcase, the three will begin a long, indeed very long coexistence, even facing an epochal undertaking: conger eel fishing.

After cooking in the oldest Roman theater in Formia, we will move to Campania, near Caserta, to get to know the sumptuous Bourbon cuisine, and here there will be a bon ton lesson because table etiquette is important just as it is important to make your dreams come true. Carlo will want to make one: to compete in a rally race in which he will also involve Christian, Emanuela, and Rocco.

The Dinner Club is synonymous with places and recipes to discover. Carlo will take his recruits to a mysterious land, Irpinia, where Gaetano, a clay master, has a precious gift - building caskets for caciocavalli. The journey will then continue in the land of Rocco Papaleo, Basilicata, where the new Orazio di Venosa will be waiting for them: Rocco U Re, a bit of a poet, a bit of a cowboy.

From Basilicata to Puglia, the journey along the Appian Way will reserve new surprises for the actors. From tasting the fleshy black mussels of Taranto to being woken up in the middle of the night by a serenade to entering a real starred kitchen, at the end of this adventure, the contents of the suitcase that Carlo gave to the actors at the beginning of the trip can finally be revealed.
