Sesame Street

Welcome to the very first episode of Sesame Street! Sally has just moved to Sesame Street, and Gordon is showing her around. As they walk around, they meet all the wonderful neighbors, friends and monsters that live there.

Granny Bird is visiting Big Bird! Although he is a little bit nervous and some things go wrong, Gordon, Susan and Mr. Hooper help Big Bird prepare for Granny Bird's arrival on Sesame Street.

Oscar is craving ice cream. He orders a sundae from Mr. Hooper with baked beans, pickles and a radish. Oscar's request grosses out Mr. Hooper and Big Bird! Oscar thinks Mr. Hooper is a genius and offers to thank him by making him dinner.

It is a beautiful day on Sesame Street! Susan and Gordon decide to take folding chairs and make a pretend car out of them. They take Jay and Francesca on an imaginary road trip, complete with a picnic and walk in the woods!

Big Bird cannot remember how to write a lowercase "R." Luckily, a cute letter "R" drops onto his easel! With the help of his uppercase and lowercase visitors, Big Bird practices writing the letter "R." Gordon and Mr. Hooper meet the two Rs.
