Queen of Oz

Princess Georgiana (Georgie) is the spare to the British throne but her party girl lifestyle and constant public scandals threaten the monarchy's future. In an effort to get her as far away from London as possible, and at the same time, hoping to prevent Australia from leaving the Commonwealth, Georgie's parents send her off to Australia to become their Queen, along with her new staff

When word gets out that Georgie has been sleeping with one of her staff, she fixes the problem by firing her boytoy. While an extremely unflattering portrait of the Queen on a new $5 note has the staff plunged into damage control mode. Hoping to alleviate her constant and ruthless coverage on Steele News, Georgie attempts to charm media magnate Richard Steele by inviting him to go hunting.

Prince Frederick (Freddie), Georgie's golden child of a brother, and heir to the British throne, pays an unexpected visit to Oz, throwing Georgie and her staff off balance. Furious, Georgie runs off and is nowhere to be found.  Freddie and her staff search everywhere, finally finding her in the most unexpected place. 

After running into her old school bully, Jessica, at the opening of a new maternity ward, Georgie decides to host a dinner party for her in the hopes that she can revel in Jessica's life struggles since they last met.  Unfortunately for Georgie, it turns out that Jessica's life has been a charmed one. As tensions rise, Georgie is forced to confront old grudges and the night turns disastrous.

At an official dinner, Georgie fails miserably in an attempt to drum up business for Australia leading to scathing criticism from the media and the public. Stressed out, Georgie has to get away and since she can't drive, she makes Marc drive her. Frustrated because there isn't any time to set up advanced security, Marc ends up driving Georgie to the one place he knows she won't be spotted.

Georgie has a taken on a more positive attitude, but then, one by one, things start to fall apart.
