From director Pedro Almodóvar, Volver follows three generations of women who survive every day through their goodness, occasional lies and boundless vitality. Raimunda (Penelope Cruz) a struggling mother who holds down several jobs to support her husband and daughter. When the ghost of her mother appears, old family secrets surface and it soon becomes apparent that things are not what they seem.
