The Disappearance

Renowned lawyer Joanna Chyłka helps her friend Angelika Szlezyngier when her three-year-old daughter mysteriously disappears.

More evidence points at David, who still holds on to his innocence. Chyłka and Zordon visit the surrounding village to investigate.

The trial is in progress, in which the Szlezyngiers sit on the bench of the accused. Chyłka and Angelika has a quarrel.

Joanna is having an operation and Zordon convinces the firm that he can replace Chyłka himself. Will the partners trust the new apprentice?

Kosmowski convinces Angelika to give up Chyłka’s services. After a harsh confrontation with Kosmowski, Chyłka checks out off from the hospital and moves to the guesthouse, where she together with Kordian prepares for the next trial.

When the detective Chyłka and Kordian hired discover that David secretly met with Wito, they lose confidence that they were defending an innocent man.

When Chyłka and Kordian learn that David knows what happened to his daughter, Chyłka is conflicted about whether or not to notify the prosecution.
