Ranchers are turning up dead in Lost Valley. It turns out that a local banker is behind the killings in order to get the ranchers' land.

Outlaws kidnap a fur trapper trying to get his valuable pelts. Meanwhile, his two children are left alone and frightened in a mountain cabin.

Parson Loomis, transporting a payroll from the Mineral City Bank to the Hardrock Mine, is ambushed by a pair of thieves. One of them returns to Mineral City, disguising himself as "Reverend Brown", allegedly a friend of Parson Loomis'. However, Roy and other townspeople begin to suspect that "the reverend" isn't what he seems to be.

The Hard Luck Insurance Company claims that it will insure a rancher for the rest of his life for just one payment. Roy suspects the company is a racket and sets out to investigate.

In honor of Boy's Day, the law-enforcement offices in town are turned over to students for the day, and young Bob Miner is appointed sheriff. His crooked uncle takes advantage of the situation to try to swindle an elderly rancher out of his land.

When homesteader Frank Stewart is found shot, already existing tensions explode into a feud between ranchers and farmers. Roy has to help settle the dispute and find out who really shot Stewart.

A group of surveyors arrives at Lanny's ranch and Lanny takes them in. What he doesn't know is that the men are not surveyors but a gang of outlaws on the run.

An outlaw gang hears Dale say that "the key to the greatest treasure in the world is in that book." They will stop at nothing to find out how to get their hands on this special fortune.

Unable to find a job, two young men decide on a life of crime. Their first victims are an elderly couple who has befriended them.

Pat is kidnapped by an outlaw gang, one of whom may be in line for a million-dollar inheritance.

After the Paradise Valley stagecoach is robbed, Roy and Dale notice how nervous the local schoolteacher seems to be. Roy begins an investigation.

A young man, unable to put up with his abusive father anymore, sees a reward poster for Curt Carlson, leader of the Carlson gang, and sets out after the gang. However, he's not after the reward.

Marv Hanley joins the posse out to catch his brother-in-law Dunc Wright, who has just held up a stagecoach.

Roy, Dale and Pat meet Jamie Howard, a little girl whose horse has been stolen. It turns out that the animal was taken by an outlaw who is framing Jamie's father for a robbery.
