After a government agent is murdered, McGarrett must identify the traitor in a scientific facility.

Steve McGarrett, serving on jury duty, STARRINGs the only dissenting vote in a murder trial, holding out for finding the defendant innocent. It appears to be an open-and shut case, but McGarrett, feeling a reasonable doubt about Christie's guilt, suggests a re enactment of the crime in the locked bedroom of the victim.

At police headquarters McGarrett is surprised to find out that Chandler's prior record consists of only petty crimes.

Steve McGarrett arranges for the escape of a convict so that the man can gather information for McGarrett about an effort to organize the Chinese Mafia in Honolulu.

A spark of rekindled passion fans into love for Danny Williams when his high school sweetheart turns up in Hawaii. Danny's path crosses with beautiful Mellissa Cole when she is charged with shoplifting and his life is further complicated when she is linked with a neurotic murderer whom McGarrett is seeking.

When a man attempts to assasinate a hypnotically compelling evangelist, and it is discovered that the threatening weapon is an unloaded gun, Steve McGarrett's interest is more than piqued.

Miss Shand insists that the diver's death was rigged and part of a scheme whereby the alleged victim and a noted psychic, Rolande, would attempt to bilk Carole of a fortune.

Five-O Chief Steve McGarrett tries to warn a scornful young socialite that she's a prospective victim of a jewel theft -- and draws only the response that he's a dumb cop. Wealthy Dilys Conover arrives in Hawaii for a vacation, and McGarrett guesses that she may have brought one of her well-known and prized possessions, an extremely valuable ruby.

Stringer, played by songwriter Paul Williams, has snapped a picture of a clandestine meeting of racketeer Tony Alika and Honolulu influence peddler Howard Dramer. That picture can destroy both Alika and Kramer. Crafty Stringer, in using the photo in an extortion attempt on Kramer, is courting his own death at the hands of the dangerous Alika.

Steve McGarrett reluctantly goes after an ex-cop whom he know and admires -- and also suspects of being the culprit in a string of murders of Honolulu pimps. McGarrett is correct. Russ Hendrix, now a private detective, is the nervy killer, and Hendrix knows McGarrett is wise to him.

When the son of one of Steve's friends dies of an overdose, he goes after a doctor that he suspects of over-prescribing drugs.

Steve McGarrett's desperate quest for a maniac known as "The Skyline Killer" is seriously hampered by a writer who wants to reap big bucks by getting to the multiplemurderer first. Norman Klane wants the fugitive's story from his own lips, intending to sell it for exclusive publication for a fortune that he will divide with the killer.

When a woman dies due to heroin packets bursting inside her and the Governor is implicated, McGarrett and Danno head off to Singapore to discover a smuggling operation.
