Tianjun révèle à Taigong le secret de leur naissance et le lien qui existe entre eux. Confronté à une décision difficile, le jeune immortel se remémore les évènements marquants de son passé.

Sans raison apparente, les immortels des Kunlun se sentent presque tous exténués, comme si quelque chose drainait leurs forces. Impossible d'affronter Wen Zhong dans cet état…

Les deux célestes les plus puissants des îles Jin-Ao font leur apparition face au trio composé de Wiehu, Nazha et Yang-Jian. Ces démons aux techniques hors du commun mettent rapidement les trois immortels en difficulté…

Tianjun prend un malin plaisir à martyriser Yang-Jian, qu'il tient pour responsable de sa souffrance. Il veut maintenant l'obliger à affronter son propre père, Tongtian, le redoutable maître des Jin-Ao.

Le plan de Puxian a fonctionné ! Il a réussi à se rapprocher de Wen Zhong et à faire exploser son baobei à bout portant ! Mais nombreux sont les immortels qui ont perdu la vie dans cette attaque désespérée…

Hang Fei-Hu est transporté sur le champ de bataille et va maintenant devoir faire face à son ancien ami, Wen Zhong, que même le vénérable Yuanshi n'a pas pu arrêter…
