Henry Jaglom plays Drew, a frazzled, recently divorced Californian who moves to New York on New Year's Eve, only to discover that his new apartment is still occupied by its previous tenants - three young women - one of whom, Lucy (Maggie Wheeler) is in the midst of a romantic crisis of her own (with David Duchovny in his film debut).
