But the body is in such bad shape, it's impossible to determine the cause of death. When the team finally tracks down a possible witness, they get quite a shock.

When a woman is found brutally raped and murdered in her home, all eyes turn toward the prime suspect, a known sex offender who retains a lawyer before he's even arrested. The attorney turns out to be a match for Brenda, and winds up manipulating Brenda and her squad. BILLY BURKE ("Twilight," "24") guest stars. Recurring guest star JAMES PATRICK STUART also appears.

Fritz's sister, a psychic, works with Brenda and the squad to help solve a crime. While her help is a bit misguided, she does have a knack at deciphering Brenda.

The day has come for Brenda and Fritz to wed but both are a bit preoccupied with work. While they each continue to pursue justice, entanglements on Brenda's squad are a bit too sour to resolve and it may mean someone will be leaving.
