After divorcing her husband and giving up alcohol, Joyce Chandler needs a quiet space of her own where she can adjust to her new life. She manages to find a secluded Manhattan apartment that suits her perfectly ... or so it seems, until Joyce meets Charlotte, her upstairs neighbor.
