London's Burning

A light aircraft crashes into a warehouse, setting the place ablaze. Two Blackwall units speed to the scene but are confronted with a task greater than extinguishing the fire: finding a safe means of rescuing two businessmen on board the plane.

After his probationary period ends, new recruit Colin waits on tenterhooks to see whether he has made the grade. Meanwhile, the lads risk their necks to rescue someone who has saved plenty of lives himself: an aging firefighter who was once a war hero.

When a sewer explosion traps a group of workers in the rubble, the Blue Watch must come to their aid. Meanwhile, the arrival of a new station officer at Blackwall causes a stir.

The Blue Watch deals with a barn fire in the Kent countryside. As the crew works to get the raging blaze under control, they discover that firefighting is a far more difficult process outside of the city.
