Golden Kamuy (Original Japanese Version)

Lt. Tsurumi visits Edogai, a taxidermist, in the town of Yuubari. He has a new plan to bring chaos to the war for the tattoo code: he's going to create fake skins that only he can detect.

Edogai succeeds in creating 6 sets of fake skins when his workshop comes under assault. He flees with Sergeant Tsukishima into the local mines, pursued by Ogata and Sugimoto.

Hijikata, who is now temporarily allied with Sugimoto, stays behind in Yuubari to try and find clues to the fake skins. Edogai's workshop is surrounded by members of the 7th division, and they're forced to fight their way out.

The team is on a mission to rescue Shiraishi, who's been kidnapped by the 7th. But he's in the middle of a massive garrison, surrounded by hundreds of troops. How can they possibly sneak in?

The team's rescue mission does not go exactly as planned, and when they finally reach the mountains, a blizzard threatens to stop them completely.

Tanigaki reflects on the time he wasted longing for revenge, and his group ends up finding Asirpa and the others.

Despite learning of Huci's failing health, Asirpa decides that the group should continue on their journey.

Tensions are at an all time high between members of the group, and Kiroranke's arrival only makes matters worse. Motives are questioned, but the group continues on.

The team is attacked by a group of blind bandits while trying to relax at an onsen.

The Sugimoto and Hijikata groups arrive at Abashiri Prison where they plan to infiltrate the prison through a temporary shelter.

Lt. Tsurumi launches an all out attack on the prison and plans to leave no survivors. Can Sugimoto find Nopperabo and make it out alive?

Chaos ensues and the teams plan falls apart. Asirpa barely escapes and Lt. Tsurumi wastes no time in sending out a team to intercept her.
