The Jungle Book

It is almost time for Hita's age of rite night but she can't blow her trumpet hard enough and give out a loud call. Mowgli finds her and tries to pacify her. He also tries to help her in making her call louder. But Jakala is after Mowgli and he is keen on getting hold of him. Mowgli and Hita manage to escape but Hita has got some dust in her trunk and she just can't stop sneezing.

Darzee and Mowgli venture into Kala's territory along with Bagheera. They wanted to taste some peaches which are found only in Kala's territory. But Bageerah is very scared and wants them to hurry. To his bad luck, Kala has already come. Bagheera jumps in to save Mowgli and Darzee but Kala's paw hurts one of Bageerah's legs and he is badly injured.

Baloo and Bagheera are having a nap. Mowgli wants to have fun with Baloo's glasses but he loses them to Tabaqui. Baloo wakes up to find his vision blurry and realizes that his glasses are not with him. He stamps on everything that comes his way including Bagheera. Tired sick, Bageerah asks Baloo to grab off his tail and he will show him the way.

Mowgli is back to his acrobatics but this time he lands Kaa into a huge trouble. Kaa is silently hunting when Mowgli accidentally knocks him down on the ground. Kaa brings himself back in shape but a huge fit of hiccups take him over.

Mowgli is trying to catch Darzee but he isn't quite successful at it. Tabaqui is watching all this from a distance and he mocks Mowgli by calling him the slowest animal. Mowgli feels offended and challenges Tabaqui that he is not the slowest.

Mowgli, Hita and Appu are looking for their cousin and relatives but they can't spot them. Hathi is worried that they aren't there in the jungle yet. Mowgli offers to go look for them and notices that the elephants are in the swamp. He asks Darzee to go inform Hathi about the situation but he knows that Darzee is quite forgetful.

Baloo is ready to pick bananas from his favorite banana tree but Mowgli wants to know if there is anything more, that Baloo likes and he confesses about the biggest, juiciest fish he has eaten. But it is found only in the river near Sher Khan's den. It is Baloo's birthday and Mowgli wants to gift him that fish. He sneaks away to Sher Khan's territory with Bagheera.

It is time for the wolves to gather food again as winter is coming and Akela chooses Mowgli as the leader of one pack. Phaona doesn't like the idea one bit. Mowgli has to take Lali, Bala and Phaona as his teammates. Phaona does all that he can so that Mowgli is unable to hunt. Meanwhile Akela gets the scent of an old, white buffalo who had tricked them in the past too and had escaped.

Shere Kahn is after Masha but her attempt at saving herself by screeching loudly somehow takes away Shere Kahn's voice and now he can give out embarrassing growls. Ikki has seen all this and is a witness to the now self-proclaimed queen of the jungle- Masha.
