The Prince of Tennis II

After Nationals and before attending the U-17 Japanese team training camp, the middle schoolers enjoy a moment of free time. Tezuka goes lure fishing with his grandfather Kunikazu. Oshitari Yushi and Kenya get heated over a lottery in a shopping mall. Shiraishi is told a shocking truth by his sister Yukari as he cares for his rhinoceros beetle.

As pairs are forced to defeat their partners in heartless matches to keep their spots at the training camp, Yukimura and Sanada, top players of Rikkai, face off. Sanada announces his desire for a head-to-head battle and uses his “Fuu Rin Ka Zan” as soon as the match begins.

Shiraishi and Kenya are the next friends to face off. Though they've long fought together for the same school, they haven't played each other since last summer. Kenya had been avoiding playing Shiraishi because of the events of the previous year's Nationals.

The winners remaining at the training camp practice hard and enjoy its luxurious facilities and meals. However, Kikumaru and Otori are disheartened by their separation from their partners. As they commiserate with one another, Atobe and Mizuki harshly state they can't afford to worry about the losers.

Swearing to Shishido that he would become stronger, Otori remained with the winners at the training camp. His turn has finally come in the shuffle matches. Otori enthusiastically faces high schooler Enjoji, but when his Scud Serves prove useless, he loses the match.

Courts 3 and 5 face off. Oni's court 5 team of middle schoolers is overwhelmed by the surprising strength of the high school students and loses the first round. Doubles team Shiraishi and Akaya are tasked with playing the second round. However, their opponents Matsudaira and Miyako taunt Akaya in an attempt to provoke him.

The losers return, bringing new energy to the training camp, when a new problem arises! Due to a bout of poor weather, shipments of essential supplies have been unable to reach the camp. Unable to eat what they want, the stress builds on the middle schoolers. Their eyes fall upon a large bag brought into the camp by Horio.
