Cenci, a fragile and wealthy young woman fixates on Leonora, an aging prostitute who strongly resembles Cenci's deceased mother. As Cenci draws Leonora into her opulent but unsettling world, Leonora accepts the role of "mummy." But soon, lines begin to blur, and their strange relationship becomes far more complex.
