Gabriela

Gabriela Rueda, our main character, participates in a very important skating competition in Cartagena were they will select the best skater who will classify for the international tournament.

Pablo tries to speak to Gabriela and tells her that he thinks he has seen her somewhere before and also says that he saw her once in the TV news when she won the race in Cartagena and she starts telling him about her life, but the conversation is interrupted by Mrs. Carmenza, their boss, who will soon become their nightmare.

Yurani has to makes up a story to Olga, her aunt and tells her that she was the one who took the money to pay for utilities, since she thought that her husband used it to gamble in a casino, since he has become a gambler. Pablo talks with his mother and asks her to lend him some money so he can pay back Gabriela the money she loaned him to pay for the expensive lunch.

Gabriela asks Ernesto to help her so Pablo can get his job back and the man is not very happy with the idea. Pablo’s ex fiancée lends him some money and he pays the debt at the hotel and is able to get back his suitcase and clothes, well dressed he goes back to the plant to try and convince Carmenza to give him back his job.

Early in the morning Pablo arrives at the track were Gabriela is training and says its a great honor to meet her grandfather, who is an old glory, skating coach and that his father is a great admirer of him. Efrain, Pablo’s father, hires a private detective so he can track his sons whereabouts so he and his wife can have some peace of mind.

The love affair between Pablo and Gabriela clicks and they look very much in love and talk about her future, but Gabriela’s mother is furious because of her daughters late arrival, and aggressively starts scolding the young man and warns him not to go in her pursuit.

Mercedes enraged calls her husband Efrain and tells him that because of what he did the girl has resigned from her job, as well as Pablo, and warns him that if she loses her son because of him, she will immediately will file for divorce.

Pablo goes to Gabriela’s house to calm her down and takes her out to have breakfast, but she barely smiles, Olga warns Pablo by telling him that men like him make women suffer and she is not willing to see her daughter go through any ordeal because of him.

Verónica complains to Ernesto that thanks to his plot she will lose Julio, but he promises that he will soon call her and will be begging on his knees to make up with her. Pablo is in a very strange mood after he heard the tape and she aware of his strange behavior asks him if there is anything wrong and he tells her how come she doesn’t accept the money don efrain is offering her.

Guillermo enjoys a very pleasant chat with his lover and in that moment his father in law arrives and the old man suspects that something strange is going on with the bum, the good for nothing of his son in law. Meanwhile Gabriela and Pablo talk and he explains to her why he was at the airport.

Olga and Ernesto speak about Pablo and decide to have a serious talk with Gabriela and convinvce her to give up on Pablo, Ernesto tells Olga that she is obsessed and blindfolded with her late finacée who keeps too many secrets and for sure must be a criminal.

Yurani advices Gabriela telling her to be patient and that she is sure that sooner or later she will end up making up with Pablo and more so now, that she knows that he was beaten up for protecting her parents. Guillermo tells Pablo not to worry that they will pay for the medical expenses, since he is his daughter’s fiancée and to avoid problems he decides not tro report the attackers.

Efrain sends Plutarco, his right hand man, to introduce himself and pass as Pablo’s father, Pablo remains stunned and very surprised with the visit. He talks with the Rueda family and tells them that his wife is extremely worried for their son’s health after the accident.

Guillermo tries to convince his daughter into accepting the money that the businessman is willing to pay and tells her that it will solve their financial problems and it will help them pay their debts and even the house mortgage, but, she adamantly opposes and apologizes with don Efrain.

Gabriela talks with Pablo and tells him that she is thrilled to have him home as a guest and that also shes very happy to know that her mother is starting to understand what a nice and charming person he is and that he sincerely loves her.

Gabriela tells Pablo that he needs to submit his resumé to the company so they can have all his personal information, he worries since his fiancée has insisted in helping him. Veronica tells Ernesto that she saw in Julio’s laptop a proposal made by him to sell the company, Ernesto is taken aback with the news.

Verónica furious with Ernesto since he tells her the information he sent her is no good and didn’t help her and also tells her that she will be in charge of breaking up the relationship between Gabriela and Pablo.

Ernesto receives Pablo’s resumé and decided he will call his work and personal references to confirm once and for all, if Pablo Rodriguez does exist. Gabriela’s grandfather and Pablo try to convince Gabriela into accepting Mr. Efrain’s offer to sponsor her and start training again.

Guillermo eagerly looks for his cell phone and asks his wife Olga if she has seen it, his wife suspects he is having an affair due to a woman’s number he has repeatedly called. Ernesto tries to confront Efrain with his brother in law Julio, who is a partner in business, telling him harsh things and it seems the man falls into the trap.

Gerardo and his wormates talk about how uncomfortable Pablo feels when he learned that Ernesto had been appointed to manage everything related with Gabriela’s sponsorship. Veronica tries to get the truth out of Pablo, on how he learned that Ernesto had been appointed by the president of the company.

Veronica makes up a story to Pablo telling him that they have asked for the room were she is staying and doesn’t have a place to live, forcing Gerardo to offer her a place to stay in his house, which is the same house were Pablo is staying, so Nestor and her can carry out their plans to separate Pablo from Gabriela.

Olga outraged when she sees her husband with another woman, she hits and hollers at her, making a scene, starts to argue with her husband’s lover and tells her husband to get lost, that she doesn’t want to see him ever again.

Abelardo has been appointed by Ernesto as coach for Gabriela’s comeback skating team and the grandfather warns his granddaughter that if he was a headache for her before, she must get prepared to see him as her worst nightmare, he will do his best to train her and make her the best skater in the country.

Gabriela arrives in a rush to the factory and asks Gerardo about her boyfriend and he tells her, that he is asking to be resinstated into the company and then she confirms that Pablo had resigned his job as worker in the plant.
