Best Of The Best: Bahamas

We introduce the audience to the models, photographers and judges as they arrive at the Viva Wyndham Hotel on Grand Bahamas island. We meet Best of the Best founder, photographer Rick Hughes, and a number of featured contestants.

Continue to meet the models, photographers and judges as they arrive at the Viva Wyndham Hotel on Grand Bahamas island. A country girl, human tornado, and a Brit who's shed her accent to talk like a valley girl.

We conclude our intro of the participants, and hear a cheeky debate about US versus UK photography.

The competition begins! We follow models Alesha Grant, Uriia Underhill, Marki Mason, Arian Mayer, and Precious Muir. We learn about Marki's bout with breast cancer and lymphoma and how that impacts her winning personality and devotion to the use of wigs. We discover Uriia's roots as a descendant of European gypsies. Our judges break down who seems to be winning right out of the box.

More participants begin their competition. Models Gia Vittoria, Jenna Lawrence, Alexandra Pelanne and Tayler Zirkle are featured. We see photographers Zoe Christou Welsh, Mark Laurie, Dean Farrell and Jonathan Shea. The judges look at the video from the photo shoots and comment on technique and dramatic twists and turns.

The rest of the participants begin their competition. Models Jessica Hixon, Allison Piltz, Abi Jameson, Ashlee Whitaker and LaurieAnn Tyler are showcased. Some of the models are upset to be critiqued for not photographing as well as they should.

Arian doesn't quite get over the hump, while Jenna and Uriia shine (but is it enough?) Photographers Jonathan Shea, Zoe Christou Welsh, Kyle Wolf and Dean Farrell all seem to be performing solidly. Jonathan is at a deficit, which the judges comment upon as they evaluate the participants shooting styles and personality. Finished photos from the shoots are now presented onscreen.

Models Precious Muir, Allison Piltz, Alexandra Pelanne, Marki Mason and LaurieAnn Tyler are featured. Marki is another crowd favorite, but can't seem to break out of the lower pack. Precious is climbing and holding her own. Alexandra and LaurieAnn seem stuck in the mid-range area. Once again, pictures and video from the shoots are used by judges to evaluate the competitors.

As the final group of contestants hit their stride, everyone's performances are put in better perspective.

As the competition continues, it becomes clear who is not going to win, and who has a lot of ground to make up.

The second group of contestants finishes the competition, and it is tough to tell who will move on from this pack.

As the final group finishes the competition, some people will find out they're going home.

The competition comes to its exiting conclusion. All the late night Photoshop sessions by the photographers and grueling shoots with the models give us our top three winners. The episode showcases the winning model and photographer andWe see a segment of their home life and find out what drives and sustains them.
