Alaska: The Last Frontier

The Kilcher family legacy is in jeopardy, so they kick off a complete homestead overhaul. However, before any work can begin, they must dig out from the worst snowstorm in years, then use every piece of heavy machinery in their arsenal.

The Kilcher family bands together on a mission to rescue a tractor, but with the ice road melting, the pressure is on Otto to get it going. Meanwhile, Eve is left with responsibility of caring for the animals on the homestead.

Otto is forced to the edge after a chimney fire threatens to destroy his cabin. Meanwhile, Eivin and Eve burn up dangerous brush piles threatening the homestead, and Atz Lee and Jane embark on a dangerous ice fishing mission.

Otto enlists the aid of Eivin to prepare his barge for an ambitious mission: moving wild buffalo. Elsewhere, Jane and Charlotte are put to the test as they lead the Kilchers' first-ever, all-female cattle drive.

The Kilchers join forces to conquer big projects. Tensions flare when Otto and Jane journey to Kodiak Island to rescue a herd of wild buffalo. Eivin and Eve tackle an urgent roof repair. And Atz Sr. and Atz Lee help Shane on his long overdue cabin build.

Otto and Jane continue their mission to relocate a herd of wild buffalo on remote Kodiak Island. Elsewhere, Atz Sr. ventures into the Alaskan wilderness to hunt bear, and Atz Lee and his brother test their firearms skills at a custom gun range.

A father son shrimping trip turns deadly when Otto and his sons must outrun a colossal caving glacier. Meanwhile, Atz Lee and Charlotte rush to save the life of a stuck cow, and Eve and Jane fish for salmon for their family.

The Kilcher family shows off the new upgrades to their homestead while giving thanks to their home and family during Thanksgiving dinner.

Otto and August make a risky attempt to acquire a massive crane, but it's in poor condition. Elsewhere, Charlotte, Eivin and Eve race against the tide to rescue a weak cow, and Atz Lee and Jane go kayak fishing, but reel in more than they bargained for.

Jewel returns to the homestead for son Kase's first cattle drive. Shane faces an uncertain future with his home. And Otto and Eivin fight to save the Kilchers' prized Octagon cabin from destruction.

The Kilchers take on some of the biggest jobs in the homestead's history. One team tries to pick up the historic Octagon building and move it to safety, while another team strives to finish Shane's multi-year cabin build before winter comes.

The Kilchers play secret Santa at Christmas with Atz Lee making art with fire, Atz Sr. jamming out with a shovel and Jane wrapping coal for someone special.

For the first time ever, the Kilchers film themselves. Atz Lee and Atz Sr. search for black bears while Eivin builds a survival motorcycle. Later, Atz Sr. helps a fellow veteran, and Eivin and Eve take their kids crabbing.

Eve butchers chickens with her children to teach them about the circle of life, while Eivin builds a shelter for his trusty horse to protect it from the freeze. Elsewhere, Atz Lee and Jane warm up their remote cabin, and Atz Sr. goes on a solo hunt.

Jane and Atz Sr. hunt elk, while on another hunt, Eve finds herself alone with a buck. Elsewhere, Otto races a snowstorm to round up his cattle, then he and Charlotte travel to Switzerland to see where the Kilcher family started.

For generations, Yule Kilcher's legacy has survived on the perseverance and commitment of his family and a community of fellow homesteaders. Now, in order for that dream to continue, a new generation of young homesteaders must rise up.
