This is the epic love story of Chandni( Sridevi)and Rohit( Rishi Kappor). When Rohit meets with a tragic accident and gets paralyzed, he pushes Chandni away from his life and she moves to Bombay. She meets Lalit who falls in love with her and soon proposes marriage. But soon a fully recovered Rohit re-appears in her life and Chandni is faced with the difficult decision of whom she must go with.
