Aubra vs. Craig: In the premiere episode of Hot Set, the competition pits two Hollywood production designers against each other in a head-to-head battle to conceive, design and build a movie set for an astronaut who has crash-landed on an alien planet.

Greg vs. Carlos: Two production designers go head to head in a challenge to build a film-ready throne room for a gorgeous but brutal alien queen.

Kim vs. Carl: Two production designers go head to head in a challenge to build a film-ready set for three futuristic android dancers.

Thomas vs. Brandy: Two production designers are challenged to create an original set inspired by Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. It's a shape-shifting, forced-perspective challenge in which the set has to create the illusion that Alice is oversized, shrunken, or both as she navigates through at least two rooms in a dream state.

Charlotte vs. Roger: Two production designers go head to head in a Halloween-esque challenge to build a serial killer's secret lair.

Carol vs. Tudor: Two production designers go head to head in a challenge to build a film-ready super villain's lair where a secret agent is trapped in a death machine.
