Huggabug Club

Sally and Kim are best friends, but they are having a disagreement. Sally learns to communicate her feelings with Kim, instead of unloading anger. Through song and dance, the Buggsters all explore emotions and feelings.

The Buggsters learn a lesson in honesty when Ernie finds a wallet containing $20. He runs excitedly into the club, planning to buy a baseball mitt with the money, until Maria asks "I wonder who's wallet this is?" They discover t hat it is a child's wallet with a phone number on the inside. The Buggsters must decide what to do.

Spencer is excited to go fishing in the stream behind his house. But, his excitement turns to disappointment when he finds the stream clogged with dead fish and pollution. The Buggsters explore essential environmental responsibilities such as recycling and park and playground preservation. The Buggsters perform a potent dance and song routine, "Kid Power", which demonstrates that together they can accomplish anything.

Grace becomes frightened when her mother is late picking her up from school. Huggabug helps the Buggsters increase awareness of safety issues, including: accepting rides from someone other than a parent, home, playground, and outdoor safety tips, getting lost, and how to avoid the pressures of smoking, drugs, and alcohol use.

The Buggsters learn about accepting new friends and new cultures when Nahero, a Japanese boy who's family has just relocated to the USA, tries his best to fit in.

Kim tells everyone that she has never seen a real cow before. Huggabug tells all the Buggsters to close their eyes and do the "Huggabug Chant". Magically, they are zapped onto a farm where they learn about the workings of a farm and how to care for animals.

Maria confesses her nervousness about starting kindergarten. Miss Audrey and Miss Judy lead the Buggsters in the Huggabug Chant, which transports them into a classroom. The Buggsters learn what to expect during a typical day of school, easing Maria's reservations and leaving her excited to begin kindergarten.

Huggabug makes exercise a blast with games such as tag and high-energy dance routines. A special guest prepares a healthy snack for the Buggsters. The guest also discusses what eating right means, and how to get the most out of exercises.

Miss Audrey and Miss Judy try to surprise the Buggsters with home-made cookies, but the surprise is foiled by the Buggsters' noses! This episode teaches children about the five senses and how they allow us to experience our surroundings.

Through song, dance and imagination, the Buggsters travel by boat, airplane, train, bus, bicycle, car and foot to learn to all about transportation.

The "Huggabug Chant" transports the Buggsters to Busch Gardens in Tampa, a world renowned zoological park containing exotic species of plant and wildlife. The Buggsters see mountain gorillas, white tigers, and camels, along with other animals. They learn about the loss of habitat and the importance of protecting the planet's endangered species. When the Buggsters return to the club, they receive a magical visit from a manatee.

A grey sky doesn't give the Buggsters the blues as they learn about rainy day activities that only need a little imagination. Also, weather mysteries such as the causes of rain, cloud formation, and how the tile of the Earth's axis effects the change in seasons are presented in simple form.

The Buggsters act out their dream occupations in this episode, coming to understand that they can do whatever they put their minds to, regardless of gender.

Human anatomy and physiology are transformed into lively song and dance routines that allow children to explore and learn about their bodies. While singing along with "Thumping, Pumping, Listen to the Beat"," the Buggsters learn about the heart. Other original songs include "Skin Can Keep You Cool", "The 5 Senses Rap", and "The Burping Song".

In the Huggabug tradition of song, dance, and fun, children learn why its always best to tell the truth. Uncle Huggabug and Auntie Bumble do a little ditty, "Tell it Like it is", while the Buggsters dance to "R-E-S-P-E-C-T, That's the thing to do."

Maria is concerned about the new baby coming into her family. The Huggabug Club spends the day learning how special it is to be a brother or sister, and the importance of families. Whether a family is big or small, they learn that the only important characteristic is love. Original songs include "My Sister, My Brother" and "Changes", complete with a Samba Line.

The Huggabug Club explores the fascinating world of insects, including the life cycle of butterflies, the underground world of ants and the intriguing communication habits of honeybees. A special trip through a "Butterfly Encounter" puts the Buggsters face to face with hundreds of colorful, fluttering butterflies

Huggabug magic brings some dinosaurs to the clubhouse for show and tell. A journey of song and dance takes the Buggsters back in time to the age of the Dinosaurs to learn about the "Enormous Brontosaurus" and the "Stegosaurus Cowboy".

What is sand made of? What makes the ocean taste salty? Where do the waves come from? The Buggsters are transported to a tropical beach where they learn the basics of oceanography, Huggabug style! They explore the ocean by swimming, jumping waves, building sand castles, and observing marine life.

The Buggsters learn to appreciate individuality and respect the special qualities that everyone possesses. Dance along with Uncle Huggabug to "Boogie Woogie Huggabug", and Oops-A-Daisy and Auntie Bumble as they perform "When I get a Giggle". Sing along with the Buggsters to "I'm Glad I'm me", a celebration of being a kid.

The Buggsters learn the life skill of loyalty and friendship by discovering all the tings friends can do together, in fun times, and hard times too. Huggabug magic transports the Buggsters to a park for a power-packed picnic where they sing and dance to "The Smile Song" and the explosive "Kid Power!".

Cirrus, stratus, and cumulonimbus become common knowledge for the Buggsters as they learn about weather. Thunder and lightening can be frightening acts of nature, but the original song "Thuunder, Thunder in the sky" demystifies the sources and causes of thunder and lightening. Join the Buggsters as they experience a pretend hurricane.

The Golden Rule is presented by song and dance as the Buggsters learn the importance of treating others they way they want to be treated, and what to do if someone is teasing you. Original songs include "It Hurts Someone When You Tease Someone", "Do The Right Thing, You'll Feel Good", and "All the Colors of the Rainbow".

The Buggsters learn about sharing, respect, and the importance of "please" and "thank you" after seeing what life would be like with no manners at all. Sing along with "The Good Manners Song", a tune that teaches but doesn't preach about politeness, making manners fun for the entire Huggabug Club

When Sally loses a game of musical chairs, and Kim gets upset because she can't always go first, it becomes time for a lesson about being a good sport. Huggabug magic transforms the Buggsters into a basketball team that must work together to win the game. The song, "Team Player", gets the Buggsters psyched about teamwork. Alex hit's a home run off of a real Major League Pitcher!
