Monster Strike

Ren and company return from Taiwan to find the Energy Points in Japan causing a ruckus. Following Genma's instructions, they split into two groups to cover their targets. But right as they leave, they run into Haruma and Taiyo!

With all of the Energy Points unleashed, Nostradamus foretells of a bleak future, leaving Ren feeling uneasy. Amidst this new development, President Madarame announces his newest project to the world. And just when it seems like things couldn't get any worse, Ren and Ryoma's greatest foe appears: Eden. Meanwhile, long after watching in silence, Miroku begins to make her move...

Miroku's true intentions are finally clear. She says if the monster world and the human world continue to merge, the cosmos will near its end. To save it, Miroku plans to destroy the human world. Naturally, Ren and company are strongly opposed to this, but to stop her, it seems they have no choice but to fight...

As her friends lay in the hospital, Mana stands there, acting the same as always. But then she begins to think about what Miroku said, and conflict grows inside her. As troubling thoughts fill her head, she goes to see Walpurgis. Witnessing her injuries first-hand, Mana finally decides to...

Leaving behind nothing more than a note, Mana suddenly disappears. Ren and the crew try to piece together where she could have gone, eventually going to speak to the heavily-injured Walpurgis. When Walpurgis tells them Mana's secret and her plan to sacrifice herself, Ren and crew rush to save her.

Walpurgis reveals Mana's secret to Ren and company as Miroku continues her preparations at Madarame Tower. When Ren and crew head there to save Mana, Miroku summons forth the otherwordly Yomi to stop them dead in their tracks!

As Ren and company press onward to save Mana, Akira and his group face a fierce battle against Yomi's Army of Doom. Just as things are looking bleak, out come Haruma and Lucy! Meanwhile, when Ren's group reaches the rooftop, they see something completely unexpected...

Mana awakens as the bringer of the red moon. Upon transforming into a monster, she is attacked by an onslaught of missiles, but then she responds with her own overwhelming power.As the situation unfolds before them, Ren and company watch in horror. They desperately call out to Mana, hoping they can somehow bring her back to her senses...

When it seems even Walpurgis's magic can't stop the monstrous Mana, Ren and company discover that Mana's real body is hidden inside Miroku's altar. Heeding Walpurgis's words, Ren and Ryoma rush onward to save Mana!

Ren and Ryoma venture inside the red moon's altar. Through the strength of their friendship, they defeat the spectral defenses and enter the altar's inner reaches, where they find Mana bound helplessly. To save her, it seems they'll have to go up against Miroku herself!

Ryoma puts his life on the line in a battle against Miroku. Meanwhile, Ren tries to reach Mana but suffers serious injuries from the altar's defenses. It seems the time for Mana's awakening is soon at hand...
