Arkwright plans to open the shop extra early to catch the morning commuter rush, but Granville is unimpressed with his plan to sell off a surplus of fig biscuits and toilet rolls with inspirational texts. Out on his deliveries, Granville makes a potentially dangerous mistake.

After Nurse Gladys insists, Arkwright hires a tailor to make him a new suit. Granville takes the tailor for an unexpected ride. Meanwhile, Arkwright goes the extra mile to play a practical joke on Granville over breakfast.

In a bid to impress Nurse Gladys, Arkwright decides to branch out with a mobile shop. But the enterprise is short-lived after Granville's close encounter with some perishables. Nurse Gladys and Granville have an incident on the road in front of the shop.

Arkwright invents a Saint's day so that Granville can check the pockets of a foreign visitor whom he suspects of shoplifting. Also, the shop's front door seems to be sticking, and may need someone to come in and fix it.
