Georgina is a classical violinist and triathlete who compares music and triathlon in that the two disciplines require time, effort, dedication and conviction. Georgina is the String Director of her Faculty and has a been teaching music for 7 years. Her Triathlon takes place in the Tequestitengo Lagoon, in the State of Morelos (MX), with 1 km of swimming, 30Kms of bicycle and 7 Kms of running.

Erika Herrera, Chemical Engineer and Triathlete. Huatulco was her first Triathlon and she came second to last place. After 2 years, she returns to the same place to face her baptism in the sport with a lot more experience. With rain all throughout the journey, Huatulco will demand the best from Erika to beat the wind and the rain if she wants to qualify for the World Cup.

Ruben Grande lost a leg after an accident 20 years ago, but this didn't stop him from becoming a highly achieved lecturer, author, and para-triathlete. He was the 1st athlete with a disability to do a Triathlon in MX and the only one with a disability doing IRONMAN 70.3 competitions. For Adrian Cañibe, Triathlon is freedom. An administrator and Triathlete, he started the sport in 1998, but couldn't stand the intensity and left. Years later, after a severe thyroid disease, he returned to training and did his first Triathlon in 2008 and met his wife in the sport. Jose Manuel LaPiedra started young competing in triathlons, but his professional and personal commitments kept him from the sport for a long time. Now he will try to return to the Triathlon of La Paz, which, unlike many events, takes place at sunset. Francisco "Paco" Serrano is a professional Triathlete and coach for many athletes. He started as mountain biker and moved to Triathlons 15 years ago. He participated in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, but an injury prevented took him out of London 2012. Ricardo Gonzalez was once the best triathlete in Mexico and has been in the sports for more than 30 years. His professional life revolves around the discipline, whether as manager, coach or participant. Pablo Arguelles's family practices triathlon regularly, but this will be his first solo competition. Pablo, a university history student, has never faced such a challenge in his life. At 38 years-old, Arlette Esqueda is a wife, mother of three, triathlete and body-combat instructor-but she has never faced a test as tough as an Ironman 70.3. Although she has run in other competitions, this will be his first long distance triathlon.  Her preparation, her inspiration, and her fears are at the center of this episode. Victor's arms arms ache after more than 3,200 strokes swimming, 90,000 meters on his bicycle make him feel a sharp pain in every of his 33 vertebrae, for each step of the 21 km run, your knees absorb 4 and 8 times your weight. It is an effort that you feel in every muscle, but a strength keeps you going until you finish. Victor faces this competition in Cozumel, State of Quintana Roo.

Luis Martinez is a Triathlete from Chiapas. He started running to support his father who had to change sports and did his first triathlon in 1993. After 21 years practicing and promoting Triathlons, Luis has never lost his passion for the sport. Running in his own city with the team he trains fills him with joy and emotion. Javier and Jorge Hernandez are brothers that compete against each other in marathons, athletics, and swimming that come come to one of Mexico's most respected triathlons in Ixtapa Zihuantanejo. Their their rivalry plays a big role where winning, sometimes taking 2nd place against family solidarity. Recorded in the State of Guerrero (MX).

Lorena de la Garza grew up without partaking in sports, but a year ago, she signed up for a rookie triathlon to see if she could do it. Discovering that it was not so easy, she decided to train seriously, and now she will try to finish her first "sprint" event to prove that she can achieve her goals. Triathlons unite 3 members of the Villafanas family . Isabella (10 years-old), Mario (12 years-old) and their father Rodrigo, compete in Veracruz City (State of Veracruz). Ana Gabriela Rivapalacio was bullied as a teenager due to her weight, but Triathlons became a discipline that she enjoy and helps her control her weight. She is also a lawyer, and is developing her 3rd passion, pastry baking. At 67-years-old, Alejandro Samperio has been a Triathlete for 5 years. He always did athletics and at 16, he ventured into amateur boxing where he was Champion of the Golden Gloves in 1965. For Alejandro, boxing fights and triathlons are not won on the day of competition, but in the days of training before. Recorded in La Paz, Baja California Sur.

Each Triathlete has his own reasons to push his body to the limit. Marcela Alvarez has been Commercial Director of Laboratories and a triathlete for more than 11 years. Her husband (also a triathlete) proposed with an engagement ring during a Triathlon and they are parents of 3 children. For Marcela, her life must be a balance between family, work and sports. Everybody in the Garza Gutierrez family is a triathlete. Alejandra (Mom) and Jose Miguel (Dad) have been triathletes for more than 10 years. Now their children follow in their footsteps when all 5 members of family compete in the same Triathlon, each in their own category. The sport unites them and makes them compete together. In 1989, just before graduating from University, Aurora Leon did her first triathlon. Since then, she has competed in several categories, becoming well known in the sport. Pablo Ferrara is a triathlete diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis that has weakened his legs and arms irreversibly. But the architect, husband and father of 3 children chose to change the rules and continue competing with the help of his three best friends who will accompany him to demonstrate that everything is possible within this sport.
